Trail Mix Overnight Oatmeal Recipe

I’m always looking for creative ways to meal prep each week and lately, I’ve been making a overnight oatmeal for breakfast. There’s so many options for what you can include, but this version is my current favorite!

 What you’ll need:

Gluten free oatmeal: 1 cup

Almond milk: 1/2 cup

Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon

Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon

Trail mix: 1/4 cup

Banana: 1, sliced

Honey: 1 teaspoon

Chia seeds: 1/4 teaspoon

 

Directions:

Step 1: Pour uncooked oatmeal into a mason jar and add almond milk (enough to submerge the oats)

Step 2: Add cinnamon, vanilla extract, chia seeds and stir

Step 3: Add a layer of sliced bananas on top, then a layer of trail mix and top with honey

Step 4: Cover with a lid and place in your refrigerator overnight. Oats can be kept for up to 3 days.
