Gluten Free Banana Nut Bread Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

There is nothing like the smell of homemade cinnamon rolls! These decadent rolls are made from scratch, stuffed with bananas, cinnamon and sugar and then topped with a thin layer of vanilla icing and crushed walnuts.

What you’ll need:

Bob’s Red Mill Biscuit Mix

Cinnamon: 1 tablespoon

Ripe banana: 2, sliced

Coconut brown sugar: ⅓ cup

Pumpkin pie spice: 1 teaspoon

Cardamom: ½ teaspoon

Walnuts: ¼ cup, chopped

Butter: 2 tablespoons, melted

Honey

Cream cheese frosting

Gluten free flour

Directions:

Step 1: Follow box directions to make your biscuit dough.

Step 2: Next, sprinkle flour onto plastic cling wrap to roll your dough on top.

Step 3: Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick.

Step 4: Mix cinnamon, coconut sugar, pumpkin pie spice and cardamom in a small box.

Step 5: Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mix evenly on top of the dough.

Step 6: Line up sliced bananas on top of the cinnamon and sugar.

Step 7: Carefully roll the dough into a long tube-shaped roll. (tip: Pull the plastic cling wrap from left to right to maintain a circular shape).

Step 8: Slice the roll into 2-inch cinnamon rolls.

Step 9: Coat your baking pan with melted butter and place the cinnamon rolls inside the pan.

Step 10: Drizzle honey on top of the cinnamon rolls and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

Step 11: Let your rolls cool for at least 10 minutes.

Step 12: Then, frost with cream cheese icing and top with crushed walnuts.
