Brussels Sprouts & Turkey Bacon Salad Recipe
A simple salad is my go-to for last-minute gatherings. This crunchy salad uses only 6 ingredients and I’m sure you already have most of them in your pantry. I added a bit of sweetness to my brussels sprouts with honey dijon mustard and honey covered turkey bacon. This recipe takes less than 30 minutes and pairs perfectly with my kale and mozzarella stuffed chicken breast.
What you’ll need:
Brussels sprouts: 1 lb, shredded
Walnuts: ¼ cup, crushed
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
Turkey bacon: 6 strips
Honey: ½ tablespoon
Step 1: Shred your brussels sprouts in a food processor or purchase them shredded and mix them in a large bowl with lemon juice.
Step 2: Next, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and place your turkey bacon onto a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil.
Step 3: Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Step 4: Then, drizzle honey on top of the turkey bacon and let cool.
Step 5: Toss in walnuts and honey dijon mustard into your shredded brussels sprouts.
Step 6: Then, chop your bacon and toss into your salad to enjoy!
